As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, director of non-entrepreneurial non-commercial legal entity of Khoni municipality was arrested.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, five persons were exposed and arrested on three facts of missapropriation of large amount of money.

On September 12 and 13 “WIPO National Workshop on IP Enforcement for Customs and Investigation Service Officials” was held, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Intellectual Property Center (Sakpatenti). The event was opened by the Head of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia – Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze and Head of the National Intellectual Property Center (Sakpatenti) Nikoloz Gogilidze.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, five facts of illegal entrepreneurial activities were exposed.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out together with the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested one citizen of Azerbaijan on fact of breaching the procedure related to the movement of goods across the customs border.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, one person was arrested on violation of rules of transportation of goods across the customs border.
