As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, director of non-entrepreneurial non-commercial legal entity of Khoni municipality was arrested.

Investigation determined that, the accused person, having financial interest, by abusing authority illegally received GEL 2000 from a physical person without signing agreement, for using heavy road technique – grader, owned by municipality, registered on balance of the organization.

Investigation is underway under the third part of Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
