As a result of activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in coordination with the representatives of Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia, exposed two facts of storing and transportation of cigarettes without excise marks.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested the representative of Mayor’s Office of Mtskheta municipality on the fact of bribery.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with representatives of the Revenue Service of Georgia, exposed four facts of storing and transportation of large quantity of products subject to marking, without excise marks.

Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Soso Ramishvili had a meeting with Claudio Ramponi- Customs, Tax, Excise, Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Affairs Attaché of Italian Embassy, representative of Guardia di Finanza and Mr. Massimo Mariani, Commercial Attaché of Embassy of Italy to Georgia.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with representatives of Customs Department of Revenue Service of Georgia, exposed one person on breaching the procedure related to movement of especially large amount of goods across the customs border of Georgia.

35 candidates have successfully passed professional testing, testing in general skills and an interview. Selected interns will take 6-months learning course from today.
