Three-stage recruitment process of interns has been completed at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia

35 candidates have successfully passed professional testing, testing in general skills and an interview. Selected interns will take 6-months learning course from today.

Internship program contains two directions, theoretical and practical learning courses. Interns will go through the theoretical course at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, based on the program specially designed for them.  Practical course will be carried out in Tbilisi and regional offices of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

Selected candidates will get detailed information about international approaches in combating crimes committed in financial-economic field, specifics of activities of law enforcement authorities, corresponding legislation and legal acts, they will deepen their knowledge and develop professional skills that will help them in their future professional activities.

Acting head of Investigation Service Mr. Soso Ramishvili and Deputy Director of Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia Mr. George Razmadze met with the selected interns, congratulated them on passing the competition successfully and starting of a learning course. 

As Mr. Soso Ramishvili mentioned – Internship Program is an important project for Investigation Service, which is carried out with support of the Ministry of Finance and Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

“Our aim is to staff Investigation Service with qualified personnel, this is one of the important preconditions for effectivity of the Service. Paid internship program gives us an opportunity to attract and employ motivated and educated candidates and support them to develop all those professional skills which will help them in their professional career” - Acting Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Soso Ramishvili said. 

During the meeting with interns, Deputy Director of Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia Mr. George Razmadze mentioned that Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia is carrying out internship program for Investigation Service, for many years already. Learning program is especially designed for them and covers all the necessary directions. “Learning process that will continue for 6 months is starting today. Theoretical course will take place at our Academy and will continue for 3 months. Interns will be involved in practical course for next 3 months.” Mr. George Razmadze said.

 
In 2018, as a result of competition, selected interns will be appointed on vacant positions of an inspector-investigator. In order to attract new staff, the Ministry of Finance of Georgia carries out internship program for candidates with higher education degree in Law and Economics, on a yearly basis.
