As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained two persons and brought to the criminal liability three persons on the fact of manufacturing and using forged tax documents by a group, and by prior agreement of the group, fraudulently causing large amounts of property damage to the state budget.

During the November 08-12 of current year, head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia - Soso Ramishvili, with the support of the Police Attaché of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Mezvrishvili, led a visit of Investigation Service delegation in the capital of the Republic of Turkey – Ankara. Meeting was also attended by deputy heads of Investigation Service Vaja Panozishvili and Vakhtang Paresishvili and head of Investigation Department Levan Dzneladze. During the visit, meetings were held between the heads of National Police Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department (KOM), Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the republic of Turkey and Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, accused and brought to the criminal liability one person, on the fact of manufacturing and using forged tax document and misappropriating large amount of the state-owned money in Adjara Region.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained Russian citizen on the fact of misappropriation of large amount of someone’s property by deceit and manufacturing and using forged document certifying authority on the property.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia charged one person on the fact of manufacturing and using forged tax and other official documents, attempting to misappropriate a large amount of property rights by deceit and fraudulently damaging the state.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed seven persons on the fact of misappropriation of large amount of state property by deceit by manufacturing and using forged documents.
