As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, on the fact of fraudulent misappropriation of state-owned land plots, in large quantities, by manufacturing and using forged official documents and on the fact of neglecting official duties, criminal prosecution was initiated against 8 persons, one of which is a former official.

As a result of operative-search and investigative activities carried out by the employees of the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, one person was detained on the fact of realization of large amount of counterfeited currency.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in June  2023, exposed 30 facts of storage, transportation and sale of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks, in large quantities, and brought to the criminal liability 28 persons, 11 of which were detained.

As a result of investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, on the facts of embezzlement of large amounts of funds belonging to citizens and concealment of large amounts of property, 3 heads of the company has been accused and brought to the criminal liability.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, through the coordinated activities with the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, exposed three facts of importing particularly large amount of undeclared gold and silver jewelry products through the customs border of Georgia, in violation of customs regulations.

Within the cycle of meetings with the various State agencies of Georgia, a meeting was held at the Investigation Service with the representatives of the Agency and the delegation of the company Tether, which was led by Mr. Paolo Ardoino (Chief Technology Officer). The head persons of the digital payments platform - CityPay.io also attended the meeting.
