As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out in the period of 2018, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed 176 facts of preparing, selling and using of forged payment/tax documents.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested citizen of Republic of Azerbaijan, as an accused on the fact of storing and selling large quantity of forged money.

In order to introduce Internship Program and activities of Investigation Service in general, Deputy Head of Investigation Service Mr. Vazha Panozishvili had a meeting with graduates and masters’ degree students of law and business faculties of Caucasus International University.

Deputy Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Vasha Panozishvili continues meetings with graduates and Masters’ Degree students of law faculties of the different universities. In order to introduce activities and planned internship program of Investigation Service, this time a meeting at Guram Tavartkiladze University was held.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, criminal liability was imposed on two heads of one of the companies and a former employee of Dmanisi municipality government, on facts of deceitful misappropriation of large quantity of state property.

Deputy Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Vasha Panozishvili met the graduates and Masters’ Degree students of the Law Faculty at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and personally introduced them the internship program planned at Investigation Service. Dean of the Law Faculty at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Professor Tamar Zaradnia and Vice-Dean of the above mentioned faculty, Professor Moris Shalikashvili attended the meeting.
