As a result of activities carried out by representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in coordination with representatives of the Customs Department of Revenue Service, imposed criminal liability on a citizen of Russian Federation of the fact of committing crime under the first part of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of Georgia – attempt to covertly move large quantity of goods across the customs border of Georgia.

Different types of trainings and learning courses are permanently taking place at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, for the purpose of improvement of employees’ qualification.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia imposed criminal liability on the employee of one of the landfill polygons of “Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia” LTD.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed fact of unlawful use of another person’s trademark.

Deputy Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Vazha Panozishvili, attended the workshop of 2017-2018 years’ graduates of International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) organized by Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of a US State Department.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, 17 facts of falsification (changing of an items qualitative properties by deception by the manufacturer or seller, committed for mercenary purposes) were exposed in the current period of 2018.
