As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, one person has been brought to the criminal liability on the fact of unlawful use of other person’s trademark in large quantities.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, through the coordinated activities with the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, on the fact of importing particularly large amount of goods through the customs border of Georgia, in violation of customs regulations, foreign citizen was detained.

Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia - Soso Ramishvili, together with his deputies, summarized results of the 2023 year, awarded the employees of the Service with early special ranks and certificates of appreciation for successfully performing official duties and their conscientious work.

The employees of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia traditionally congratulated on coming Christmas and New Year to the residents of St. Giorgi Mtatsmindeli Convent Rehabilitation Center. Employees of the Service visited the children deprived of care and elderly people with special needs of the Centre and brought them New Year's gifts.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the Kvemo Kartli District Prosecutor's Office, exposed 2 persons on the fact of fraudulent misappropriation of large amount of funds belonging to the state, using official authority.
