As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance Georgia detained two persons on the fact of manufacturing and selling of forged GEL 100 banknotes jointly, by group of persons upon prior agreement.

The Investigation Service initiated criminal prosecution against one person – Laura Ghachava on the fact of falsifying tax documents, creating false value added tax assets and thereby inflicting GEL 2 160 955 damage to the State budget.

As a result of the coordinated activities of the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance Georgia and the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, two persons were accused on the two facts of breach of the rule related to the movement of goods in a large amount.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed the fact of unlawful use of trademark of another person committed by a group with a prior agreement, in the region of Adjara and two persons were charged on the following.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed ten facts of storage and transportation of excisable goods without excise marks in large quantity and detained twelve persons for committing following act.
