As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested director of one of the companies on the fact of preparing and selling forged tax documents.

Main aim of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia is to decrease number of financial and economic crimes in the country to the minimum.

Internship program has been completed at the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia. 28 interns received certificates as a result of completing 6 month learning program. Amongst them 22 interns will be employed at the Investigation Service.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out in coordination with General Inspection of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested senior specialist of LEPL “Public Service Development Agency” of Ministry of Justice of Georgia on bribery.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in collaboration with the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, five persons were exposed and arrested on three facts of misappropriation of large amount of money.
