As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigations Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained one person on the fact of making and sale of forged official document.

Representatives of investigation Service of The Ministry of Finance of Georgia delivered New Year presents to socially vulnerable and large families located in the conflict zone villages of Gugutiantkari, Zardiantkari, and Koshka in Shida Qartli region and congratulated them on Christmas and New Year handing them New Year gifts, furniture, clothes and essentials.

Soso Ramishvili, Chief of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, together with his deputies and heads of structural units, awarded the staff of the Service with Certificates of Appreciation for their successful performance and conscientious service in 2019. The chief of Investigation Service congratulated the staff on the coming Christmas and New Year and wished them more success in the coming 2020.
 

As a result of undertaken activities, representatives of the Investigations Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in cooperation with the representatives of the Customs Department of The Revenue Service, identified two cases of movement of especially large amount of property, by breaching the procedures related to the movement of goods across the customs border.

As a result of operating-searching activities, representatives of Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance Georgia detained a specialist of of Samtskhe-Javakheti Forestry Service of LEPL National Forestry Agency on the fact of bribe-taking.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained 2 persons on the fact of storage, sale and transportation of excisable goods without excise marks in large quantity, committed by more than one person.
