Deputy heads of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia - Vaja Panozishvili, Vakhtang Paresishvili and head of the Investigation Department - Levan Dzneladze, with the support of the Police Attaché of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Giorgi Mezvrishvili, held a meeting with the delegation of the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department of National Police of the Republic of Turkey (KOM). The delegation was led by the deputy head of the Department - Ahmet Guler. During the meeting, specific directions was discussed for deepening cooperation between the colleague agencies of the two neighboring countries. The parties expressed readiness to intensify cooperation and information sharing in the field of combating against financial and economic crimes. A memorandum of understanding is planned to be signed in the near future, which will reflect all the priority areas of the professional cooperation.
