Online meeting was held between the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and the Head of the Agency for Criminal Assets Recovery (ARO) of the National Anticorruption Center of Moldova.

Representatives of Investigation Service briefed their Moldovan colleagues on the specifics of the activities of the Service in the field of combating financial and economic crime. In his turn, the Head of the Agency for Criminal Assets Recovery (ARO) - Mr. Serghei Carapunarli, shared with the representatives of Investigation Service detailed information on the legal basis for the recovery of criminal assets, methods and procedures for assessment of seized assets, and the best practices in the field of the abovementioned asset management.

Georgian and Moldovan colleagues expressed their gratitude to each other for the professional information shared. At the meeting, parties also agreed on specific areas for future bilateral cooperation.
