As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the representatives of the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, exposed fact of importing particularly large amount of goods through the customs border of Georgia, in violation of customs regulations, on which one person was detained.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during the month of January of the current year, exposed 18 facts of storage, transportation and sale of large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks and brought to the criminal liability 20 persons, 12 of which were detained.
