Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia is launching a paid internship program and competition for interns. Georgian citizens aged 21-30 with higher legal education will be able to participate in the internship program.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained 3 persons on the fact of misappropriation of property in large quantities by deceit, as a group.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia in July, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed 24 facts of storage and transportation of a large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks. 3 facts out of 24 were exposed through the coordinated activities carried out together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained three persons on the fact of manufacturing and using false tax documents as a group.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained the employee of the state subordinated agency Department of Environmental Supervision on the fact of bribery. 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, through the coordinated activities carried out together with the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, exposed Turkish citizen on the fact of breach of procedures related to movement of particularly large amount of goods across the customs border of Georgia.
