Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia hosted representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained 2 persons on the fact of cheating on consumers by a group of persons with preliminary agreement.

Representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia received an operative information, that a specialist of one of the regional subdivisions of the Department of Environmental Supervision was in a corrupt agreement with entrepreneurs employed in the timber business, from whom, in exchange for official patronage and coverage of violations, was periodically receiving certain amounts of money. 

Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, with the support of Liaison officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Europol, took part in Europol coordinated operation Shield - a global effort to target trafficking of counterfeit and misused medicines and doping substances.

Delegation of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, led by the head of the Service – Soso Ramishvili, visited Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States of America.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in Adjara region, brought to the criminal liability head of the company, on the fact of deliberate tax evasion committed in particularly large quantities.
