Employees of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, with the support of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Embassy of Switzerland, took part in the simulation training on human trafficking organized by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. The training – “Combatting Human Trafficking: Sustaining Multi-Agency Collaboration through National Simulation-based Exercise”, was held in Tbilisi on November 7-11.

Today, a meeting with representatives of the Turkish International Academy against Drugs and Organized Crime (TADOC) was held at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia actively continues to carry out relevant operative-searching activities in order to detect and prevent the facts of storage, transportation and sale of cigarettes without excise marks.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained citizen of Iran on the fact of selling large amount of forged money. 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed 9 facts of illegal entrepreneurial activity and brought to the criminal liability 10 persons.

As a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities, employees of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, brought to the criminal liability one person on the facts of manufacturing and using forged tax documents, large amount of property damage, misappropriation of other person’s property by deception and concealing the property with a sham transaction.
