As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia together with the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, one person was detained on the fact of storage and transportation of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks, in particularly large quantities. 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, brought to the criminal liability five persons on the facts of manufacturing and using forged tax documents as a group, damaging property by deceit, negligence and moving particularly large amount of movable goods across the customs border of Georgia, as an organized group.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained two persons in Samegrelo Region, on the fact of manufacturing and selling forged official documents.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during the month of December of 2022, exposed 22 facts of storage, transportation and sale of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks, and brought to the criminal liability 14 persons, 6 of which were detained.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, through the coordinated activities with the representatives of the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, in the beginning of January exposed three fact of importing particularly large amount undeclared gold jewelry products through the customs border of Georgia.

The employees of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia visited the Dzegvi Children's and Elderly Home, children deprived of care and elderly people with special needs, congratulated on Christmas and New Year and gifted them different dainties.
