On July 3-5, conference titled “Advancing South–South Cooperation and Learning in Asia“, was held in Seoul, Korea, organized by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Korea Development Institute (KDI). Representatives of agencies under the Ministry of Finance of Georgia – Investigation Service, LEPL Service Agency, LEPL Academy of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury Service, attended the conference with the invitation of ADB.

As a result of operative searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed five facts of storing and transportation of large quantity of goods subject to marking, without excise marks in Tbilisi, Shida-Kartli and Kvemo Kartli regions.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed four facts of falsification of fish products.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed the fact of bribery in Imereti region.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia imposed criminal liability on two persons, on fact of putting large quantity of goods into civil turnover, under another person’s trade mark, by group of people, with prior agreement.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, arrested one person on fact of bribery.
