As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia imposed criminal liability on two persons, on fact of putting large quantity of goods into civil turnover, under another person’s trade mark, by group of people, with prior agreement.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, arrested one person on fact of bribery.

Theoretical and practical training course was held for representatives of the agencies involved in the mutual project of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and World Customs Organization (WCO) - Container Control Program (CCP) from June 18 to June 26, in Batumi.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the representatives of LEPL National Food Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, imposed criminal liability on one person, on the fact of falsification of meat products.

As a result of operative searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed four facts of storing, transportation and selling of large quantity of goods subject to marking, without excise marks, and arrested three persons.
