As a result of investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in Tbilisi and Adjara region regarding the activities of alleged criminal so-called „call centers“, based on the operational information received in connection with the criminal case being under investigation of the Service, various types of equipment and documentation containing electronic information were seized.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, two persons were detained on the fact of selling large amount of forged money, by prior agreement as a group.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during the month of April of 2025, exposed 21 facts of storage, transportation and sale of large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks and brought to the criminal liability 30 persons, 7 of which were detained.
 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, two persons were exposed on the facts of commercial bribery, negligence and manufacturing and selling forged document.
 

Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili and Mr. Giorgi Gelashvili have been appointed as deputies of Mr. Irakli Beraia, Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
