Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili and Mr. Giorgi Gelashvili have been appointed as deputies of Mr. Irakli Beraia, Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

The Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance introduced his deputies to the employees of the agency. Mr. Irakli Beraia thanked former deputies Mr. Vakhtang Paresishvili and Mr. Mirian Mchedlishvili for their work accomplished and wished them success in their future endeavors.

At the meeting, the new deputy heads of Investigation Service, Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili and Mr. Giorgi Gelashvili, presented their visions of future activities to the employees of the agency.

Prior to his appointment to this position, Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili held the position of the Head of the General Inspectorate at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. He held senior positions in the state subordinated institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the High Council of Justice of Georgia. Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili is a Doctor of Law and engaged in educational activities at various universities in Georgia.

Prior to his appointment as Deputy Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Gelashvili worked in the Ministry of Sports of Georgia. Over the years, he has held managerial positions in both law enforcement and the private sector. During long period he practice law as an advocate.
