Head of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia is on a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland where he participates in the 5th International Forum on Tax and Crime, organized by OECD in association with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

Representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia met with fiscal crime liaison officer of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland – Mr. Nick Eede.

Involvement of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia will be increased within mutual project of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and World Customs Organization (WCO) – Container Control Program (CCP). Abovementioned issue was discussed on a meeting at the office of Investigation Service, between Deputy-Head of the Investigation Service - Mr. Iga Zaalishvili and Coordinator of Black Sea Region at UNODC – Dr. Naida Chamilova. Parties discussed the progress of the program and the importance of involvement of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia to it.

Head of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze has met the Director of Compliance and Facilitation Directorate of World Customs Organization – Ms. Ana Hinojosa.
