Professional Day of the Employees of the Service was celebrated at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. The Agency presented a report on its activities for 2024 and awarded successful employees.
 

Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia - Soso Ramishvili, together with his deputies and the heads of the LEPL - Revenue Service, hosted the delegation of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Committee, Eduard Hakobyan.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during the month of February of 2025, exposed 25 facts of storage, transportation and sale of large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks and brought to the criminal liability 24 persons, 5 of which were detained.

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained a foreign citizen on the fact of selling forged money.
