Regarding the case of so-called “call centers” under the investigation of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, taking into consideration the high public interest, the Service explains that, in accordance with the law, based on the relevant motion, the bank accounts of the specific persons involved in the case were seized by the court’s ruling.
 

In accordance with the operational information received in connection with the criminal case, being under investigation of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, investigative activities were conducted in three alleged so called "call centers" and based on the judge's ruling, the specified facilities were searched.
 

In order to establish a healthy lifestyle and promote sports activities at the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, an autumn championship in mini-football was organized by the administration of the Service.

Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia hosted representatives of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
 

As a result of close professional collaboration with international liaison officer of the British Embassy to Georgia, representatives of the National Crime Agency (NCA) of the United Kingdom delivered specialized 2-day training to investigators and analysts of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Topics of the training covered various aspects related to the parallel financial investigations and frozen assets management.
 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in coordination with the representatives of the Customs Department of the Revenue Service, exposed fact of importing particularly large amount of goods through the customs border of Georgia in violation of customs regulations by a group with a prior agreement, for which criminal prosecution was started against two persons.
