Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia hosted representatives of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As a result of close professional collaboration with international liaison officer of the British Embassy to Georgia, representatives of the National Crime Agency (NCA) of the United Kingdom delivered specialized 2-day training to investigators and analysts of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Topics of the training covered various aspects related to the parallel financial investigations and frozen assets management.
Cybercrime and Economic Crime Center (CCEC) of the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, organized the initial cycle of online trainings tailored to the needs of the employees of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. It should be noted, that the trainings are the first joint event, which is supported by the University of Portsmouth, after the parties signed the Memorandum of Understanding in February of this year.
Head of Investigation Service, Soso Ramishvili, and management team members hosted the delegation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia and the Tax and Customs Police Department of the State Revenue Service, leaded by Olga Bogdanova - Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. Latvian colleagues got acquainted in details with the specifics of the Investigation Service activities, its priorities and the results achieved within the recent period.
