Delegation of Investigation Service of Financial Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, led by its Director, Mr. Antoni Mikulskis, had a two-day visit at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

Acting Head of Investigation Service Mr. Soso Ramishvili showed training facilities of Special Detachment Unit and the office of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional division of Investigation Service to the members of delegation of Investigation Service of Financial Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania. Guests received detailed information about activities and results achieved by Container Control Program – mutual program implemented by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Within the frames of the visit, during the meeting held at the office of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, parties discussed the issues of future cooperation and agreed on signing memorandum on mutual cooperation in the nearest future.
