THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM STARTS AT THE INVESTIGATION SERVICE OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE OF GEORGIA

Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia announces a paid internship program in investigative and operative directions. 
 
Graduates of the Faculty of Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, State Governance, Social and Political Sciences are eligible to participate in the internship program. Recruitment of interns is carried out in 30 vacant positions of investigators and inspector-investigators.
 
Electronic applications of those wishing to participate in the internship competition will be accepted on the official website of the Investigation Service http://is.ge/ka-ge/stajireba  from October 23 to November 13. 
 
In order to popularize the internship program, in the period of April-May of the current year, the top managers of the Investigation Service held introductory meetings with the students of the leading higher education institutions of Georgia. In the above-mentioned program there was involved Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgian Technical University, Gori, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Akhaltsikhe and Telavi state universities, as well as Kutaisi International University and Caucasus University. At the introductory meetings, the conversation was on the goals, tasks, and specifics of fighting against financial and economic crime of the Investigation Service. The top managers of the Service talked to the young people about the importance of the internship program in gaining the professional knowledge of the interns, raising their qualifications and employment prospects.
Upon successful completion of the internship competition stages, interns will undergo a six-month theoretical and practical training course at the LEPL Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, at Tbilisi and regional subdivisions of the Investigation Service. The interns will get acquainted with the main tasks of the Investigation Service, the specifics of its work and will be involved in practical activities. Attraction and employment of motivated young people within the internship program will increase the effectiveness of the Investigation Service and will promote the career growth of young people.
