As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, accused and brought to the criminal liability heads of three companies on the fact of tax evasion committed in large amount.

Investigation determined that the accused persons, who managed companies operating in Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi regions, by violating tax legislation, were systematically incorrectly declaring income, thus avoiding paying large amounts of taxes.

As a result of tax audits, GEL 621 099 has been incurred all three companies in favor of the state budget.

Investigation is underway under the first and second parts of Article 218 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 5 to 8 years.
