PAID INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT INVESTIGATION SERVICE WAS COMPLETED

Paid internship program at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia was completed. 30 interns, selected in the three-stage competition went through a six-month theoretical and practical training course, out of which 23 interns successfully completed their studies. Distinguished interns were appointed to corresponding positions in the operational and investigative directions.

The head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, Soso Ramishvili, and the director of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance, Tariel Chulukhadze, presented certificates to the distinguished interns, congratulated them on their appointment to the corresponding positions and wished them success in their professional activities.

Within the frames of the internship program, the interns received theoretical training during the first three months at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, and practical training at the Tbilisi and regional divisions of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. During the internship, they had the opportunity to become familiar with the specifics of Investigation Service and acquire professional skills.

In order to attract qualified personnel, Investigation Service has been implementing a program of paid internships in the investigative and operational directions for already several years. Graduates of higher legal, economic, business administration, public administration, state administration, social and political sciences faculties can participate in the program. 

In order to popularize the internship program, the management of Investigation Service systematically holds introductory meetings with students from leading universities in Georgia. At introductory meetings with young people in educational spaces, the conversations cover the goals, objectives and specifics of the fight against financial-economic crime. Management of the Service talks to them about the importance of the internship program in gaining professional knowledge, improving qualifications and employment prospects.

Within the frames of the internship program, the attraction and employment of motivated young people at Investigation Service increases the efficiency of the agency every year and promotes the career development of young personnel.
