Minister of Finance, Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze and Head of Investigation Service Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze congratulated employees of the Investigation Service and expressed their gratitude for the work carried out.

March 30 was established as a professional day of the officers of Investigation Service and will be celebrated annually.

As it was mentioned on a specially arranged event, main aim of the Investigation Service is to support economic development of the country, to combat financial-economic crime and to protect interests of each citizen, business sector and the State. Establishment of professional day will be an important incentive and stimulus for the employees of the Investigation Service. This day will be an evaluation of the importance of their work. 

Minister of Finance Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze wished the employees of the Investigation Service success in their work and underlined that their activities have an important role in protecting economic security of the country.

“We have defined three principles of working for Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia: Investigation Service must have a high level of public credibility, it must be principle regarding the supremacy of law and in combating financial economic crime and also the Investigation Service must be an effective mechanism for protection of business.”- Minister of Finance Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze stated.

On the meeting, held together with the employees of the Investigation Service, Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze have introduced an Annual Report 2017 to the Minister of Finance. He noted that the Investigation Service has achieved important results in recent period, which is a result of effective work of each offocer. Head of Investigation Service expressed his gratitude to the employees of the service and wished them success in their future activities.

Within the frames of the event, Minister of Finance and Head of Investigation Service awarded successful officers with certificates of appreciation and early promotions in special ranks.
