Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia handed out New Year presents to 15 socially vulnerable large families living in Gori, Mtskheta, Kareli, Dusheti and Tianeti municipalities.
During a visit to the village of Tsitelubani, located in the occupation zone, Mr. Soso Ramishvili, Head of Investigation Service, and Mr.Vaja Panozishvili, Deputy Head of Investigation Service, handed out New Year presents and a basket full of essential foodstuffs to large families. Together with the staff of Investigation Service, gifts were given to those socially vulnerable large families, living in the villages Dirbi, Kirbal and Dvani, located in the occupation zone.
Deputy Head of the Service, Mr. Vakhtang Paresishvili visited large families, including two families with 6 children, living in Mtskheta district, Dusheti and Tianeti municipalities. The Deputy Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Iga Zaalishvili gave New Year presents to the families with 7 children, living in Gori.
The many years of tradition, to give New Year gifts to socially vulnerable large families is an initiative of Investigation Service and having the purpose to encourage solidarity within the society.
