As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained one person on the fact of misappropriation of the state property by deceit, in large quantities. 

Investigation determined that the accused person, in order to obtain state property by deceit, during 2013-2017, using false witnesses, as if he received land plots as a part of land reform by the state, illegally registered six units of land plots in Mtskheta Municipality, total area of 18 048 m2, the value of which estimates GEL 126 356, according to the expertise.

During the investigation, the abovementioned land plots were seized.
Relevant investigative measures are being continued, in order to identify and expose other persons involved in the abovementioned crime.
Investigation is underway under the third part of article 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
