Meeting with representatives of Armenian delegation was held at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Soso Ramishvili, together with other top level officials of the Service and Deputy Heads of Ministry of Finance Mr. Leri barnabishvili and Lasha Khutsishvili had a meeting with Deputy Chairman of State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Rustam Badasyan and Head of Investigation Division of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Edvard Hovhannisyan.
Representatives of Investigation Service shared to guests successful experience of Investigation Service in the field of investigating financial, economic and tax crimes as well as practical issues of operative-searching activities, on an introductory meeting held within the frames of mutual cooperation. Aims and legal basis of activities of Investigation Service and the crimes on which operative-searching and investigative activities are carried out by Investigation Service, also were the topics of discussion during the meeting.
“By means of exposing and suppressing crime in financial-economic field, as well as preventing activities and risk management, Investigation Service protects free business environment and supports economic development of the country.”- Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Soso Ramishvili stated at the meeting.
Priority directions of future cooperation between the parties were planned during the meeting. After the meeting, top level officials of Investigation Service, showed the building of Special Detachment Unit to the guests.
