Issues related to the mutual assistance and fighting against illegal activities in tax and customs spheres were discussed in the Investigation Service

Representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia met with fiscal crime liaison officer of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland – Mr. Nick Eede.

Issues related to the mutual assistance and fighting against illegal activities in tax and customs spheres were discussed during the introductory meeting. Also, discussion covered those issues regarding collaboration and mutual support in the spheres defined by the memorandum signed between the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia and HMRC and the perspectives of future cooperation development.

Representatives of the Investigation Service from its Administration, Division of Fighting Against Custom Rules Violations and International Relations and Legal Division attended the meeting.
