As a result of investigational-operative activities carried out by representatives of Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, heads of two companies were exposed on fact of misappropriation of large quantity of state property.

Investigation has determined that in one case the accused person, has artificially expanded the volume of work done during the road infrastructure works according to the order of Akhaltsikhe municipality in order to receive illegal income and illegally took GEL 130 785 into his possession. 

In second case, the accused person, used less volume and lower quality of materials than it must have been used according to budget of roof repairing works of multistoried building in Bolnisi municipality in order to receive illegal income, thus he illegally took GEL 9 257 into his possession.

Investigation is underway under second part of article 180 and third part of article 182 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

Currently, respective activities are carried out in order to expose other persons related to the above mentioned crime and reimburse the damage caused to the State.
