As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have imposed criminal liability on two persons on the fact of misappropriation of state property by means of forged documents.

Investigation has determined that the accused persons have forged documents of ownership and by means of above mentioned forged documents, registered 11 000 sq./m and 13 000 sq./m  state land plots on the territory of Zugdidi municipality as their private property. On this stage, land registered by means of fraudulent actions is seized.

Investigation is underway under second part of Article 180 and second part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
