As a result of operative searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, imposed criminal liability on one person, on the fact of misappropriation of state property by means of preparing and using forged official documents.
Investigation determined that, the accused person, in order to deceitfully receive state property into his personal ownership, he maganed to prepare forged cadastral chart of land measuring and a certificate proving as if he has got the ownership of a land for agricultural purposes. With these documents, a person exposed in crime, registered ownership of an island with 1807 m2 area, situated in one of the lakes on the territory of Ninotsminda Municipality.
Investigation is underway under the second part of Article 180 and the second part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
On this stage, corresponding activities are carried out in order to detect and expose other persons related to the above mentioned crime.
