As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia imposed criminal liability on the employee of one of the landfill polygons of “Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia” LTD.

Investigation determined, that the accused person, for the purpose of obtaining illegal material benefits, illegally asked and took GEL 500 from a citizen, in exchange for disposing garbage on the company-owned landfill located in Shida Kartli region, without signing an agreement.

Investigation is underway under third part of Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
