As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out in the regions of Samegrelo and Kakheti, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed two persons for storing, transportation and realization of goods subject to marking, without excise.

As a result of investigative activities, various types of cigarettes without excise subject to realization were seized with the market value of GEL 3 642 in the region of Samegrelo and in the region of Kakheti alcoholic beverages without excise with the market value of GEL 3 877 was seized.

Investigation is underway under article 200, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
