Basis on the operative-searching and investigative activities conducted by employees of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, one person has been arrested for transporting and selling excisable goods without excise marks.

Investigation ascertained that above mentioned person was selling alcoholic beverages - cognac Hennessey X.O and vodka Beluga, without excise marks in Tbilisi.

Total value of alcoholic beverages seized as a result of Investigative activities estimates GEL 8 736.

Investigation is underway under article 200, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
