As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, imposed criminal liability on one person on the fact of illegal entrepreneurial activity.

 
Investigation determined that in Shida Kartli region, during the process of mining mineral resources, head of one of the companies, dug out trees and bushes without a special permission on using forest. As a result of the above mentioned activities, total value of damage caused to environment equals GEL 56 993. During the investigation process, the accused person has fully covered above mentioned amount of money by transferring it to the state budget.

 
Investigation is underway under the first part of article 192 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 1 to 3 years.
