As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed director of private forensics institute and head of laboratory on the fact of manufacturing and sale of forged official documents in the region of Imereti.

Investigation revealed, that with intention to receive illicit material benefit, in return to sum of money, accused persons issued forged certificate. Without corresponding laboratory tests, manufactured and issued forged certificate on concrete testing, which showed higher mark of concrete stiffness.

As envisaged in the first part of article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, mentioned activity is subject to imprisonment up to 3 years.
