Representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, detained an employee of JSC "Georgian Railway" on the fact of misappropriation of the property of another person by deceipt, by means of using the official position.

According to the investigation, the accused person assured the citizen, that the latter one would be recruited in JSC "Georgian Railway" in case of payment of certain amount of money. For completion of this criminal intent, the accused person demand a citizen of Georgia to pay GEL 1 150 from which he took GEL 750.

Investigation is underway under the second and third parts of the article 180, of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
