As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested a head of one of the organizations on preparing and selling of forged documents.

Investigation has determined that the arrested person, having financial interest, prepared forged diploma of bachelor’s degree of Faculty of Medicine of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and sold it to one of the citizens for USD 2600.

Investigation is underway under second part of article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 3 to 6 years.
