On March 30, 2019 - 15 years passed since the establishment of Investigation Service.

Minister of Finance, Mr. Ivane Machavariani opened the solemn celebration, dedicated to Investigation Service day, at Expo Georgia convention center.

As the Minister of Finance mentioned during his speech, it is important for working process of Investigation Service to be objective and principal in terms of rule of law, towards the direction of combating against financial and economic crime.

Minister of Finance, Mr. Ivane Machavariani, wished success to employees of Investigation Service and noted that their activities are very important for securing economic development of the country. 

Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Soso Ramishvili, presented Annual Report for activities of Investigation Service carried out in 2018 to the guests attending the event. Head of Investigation Service focused attention on statistical data describing those crimes exposed by employees of the Service and the activities carried out for prevention of financial-economic crime.

On the event dedicated to jubilee of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Minister of Finance Mr. Ivane Machavariani and Head of Investigation Service Mr. Soso Ramishvili, awarded employees of the Service with certificates of gratitude and early state special ranks for proper performance of their duties, high-level professionalism and dedicated work.
