Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia – Soso Ramishvili, along with other senior officials, paid an official visit to the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the visit, meetings were held between the heads of the Agencies, and important issues, such as the fighting against crimes committed in the financial and economic field and the prevention of tax and customs crimes, were discussed. The parties discussed about the importance of sharing experiences on analytical methodology and practice within their competence.
During the visit, a memorandum on partnership and cooperation was signed, which will contribute to further deepen and activate bilateral cooperation between the counterpart agencies of Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of detection, prevention and investigation of crimes committed in the financial and economic field.
