As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out throughout Georgia, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during the month of August of 2024, exposed 11 facts of storage, transportation and sale of large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks and brought to the criminal liability 11 persons, 2 of which were detained.
 

Paid internship program at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia was completed. 30 interns, selected in the three-stage competition went through a six-month theoretical and practical training course, out of which 23 interns successfully completed their studies. Distinguished interns were appointed to corresponding positions in the operational and investigative directions.
 

As a result of investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, criminal prosecution was initiated against one person, on the fact of deliberate evasion of a large amount of tax.
 

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, three persons were detained on the fact of attempt to fraudulently misappropriate a large amount of land plot by manufacturing and using forged documents. One of the detain is a foreign citizen.

As a result of investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, one person has been detained, on the fact of deliberately evading particularly large amount of tax.

As a result of operative-searching and operative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, criminal prosecution was initiated against one person on the fact of illegal entrepreneurial activity.
