As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained one person on the fact of manufacturing and selling forged tax document, in Akhaltsikhe.
Investigation determined that the accused person, in order to receive illegal material benefit, on behalf of a company under his factual management, manufactured and sold 5 000 m3 of volcanic slag (pumice) worth GEL 35 000, forged electronic tax invoice and electronic waybill representing the delivery, in exchange of which he received GEL 12 150.
Investigation is underway under the first part of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
